CHURCH SERVICES NOW IN PERSON OR ON-LINE
We now have the option for church attendees to participate either in-person or on Zoom. For those attending in-person, the following rules would apply to ensure compliance with Mayor Adler’s Order dated August 14, 2020:
- All ushers, Sunday School teachers, Children’s room attendants and all in-person attendees are required to wear masks while in the church facility.
2. A notice requiring the use of masks will be posted at the church entrances.
3. The usher staff will be provided with a supply of masks to be given to attendees if they arrive without a mask.
4. Readers will speak from the podium without masks.
5. Children age 9 and younger will not be required to wear masks
6. Ushers will rope off spaces so that attendees observe “social distancing” by sitting at least two rows and three seats apart (except for family groups).
7. Only one person at a time will use the restroom.
8. Hand sanitizers will be available at key locations.
Any attendee who is not willing to follow the Mayor’s order is encouraged to attend the services by use of Zoom.
If you are planning to attend in-person, please remember to bring a mask.

The Holy Bible
A Psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
In Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, pages 577- 578,
Mary Baker Eddy wrote:
In the following Psalm one word shows, though faintly, the light which Christian Science throws on the Scriptures by substituting for the corporeal sense, the incorporeal or spiritual sense of Deity:
[DIVINE LOVE] is my shepherd; I shall not want.
[LOVE] maketh me to lie down in green pastures: [LOVE] leadeth me beside the still waters.
[LOVE] restoreth my soul [spiritual sense]: [LOVE] leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for [LOVE] is with me; [LOVE’S] rod and [LOVE’S] staff they comfort me.
[LOVE] prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: [LOVE] anointeth my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house [the consciousness] of [LOVE] for ever.
Every day is a day to give thanks to God for all the good and the healing blessings we experience. Each day we can see in our lives the power of God-inspired gratitude to bring comfort and refuge. In this season, though, we set aside special time to focus on this gratitude. Special Thanksgiving Services in the Austin Area will be held on Thursday, November 28 at the times listed below.
