Third Church of Christ, Scientist, 3575 Ranch Road 620 South. Austin, Texas, 78738, is one of the worldwide branches of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. The Mother Church was organized in 1879 “to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing.” (Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy).
Church and Sunday School meet at 9:30 AM.
Each week a unique subject is explored through readings from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science.
Sunday School is open to all students up to the age of 20. They are familiarized with our textbooks, the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. They learn the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes and the Lord’s Prayer. These teachings support their desire to feel God’s presence and to apply this understanding to challenges.
7:30 – 8:30 PM.
The Wednesday Testimony Meeting consists of prayer, the singing of hymns, and readings from the Bible and Science and Health. The readings are followed with an opportunity for all to share gratitude for Christian Science healing.
Loving child care is available for all services.
Hours: Open directly following each service.
