The Holy Bible
A Psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

In the following Psalm one word shows, though faintly, the light which Christian Science throws on the Scriptures by substituting for the corporeal sense, the incorporeal or spiritual sense of Deity:
[DIVINE LOVE] is my shepherd; I shall not want.
[LOVE] maketh me to lie down in green pastures: [LOVE] leadeth me beside the still waters.
[LOVE] restoreth my soul [spiritual sense]: [LOVE] leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for [LOVE] is with me; [LOVE’S] rod and [LOVE’S] staff they comfort me.
[LOVE] prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: [LOVE] anointeth my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house [the consciousness] of [LOVE] for ever.
Join the Principia Club of Austin for a playdate and workshop with Principia’s Early Childhood Principal Dorothy Halverson. Explore how to help young children learn spiritual concepts and Bible stories. Concrete examples will be shared, and materials for making some of the activities will be provided. Childcare will be available during the 45-minute workshop; afterwards, children will be invited to make crafts, sing songs, and gather for a brief story time. The activities are geared toward two- to seven-year-olds, but older children and infants are welcome, too.
Parents, grandparents, Sunday School teachers, and friends are all invited to attend this hands-on workshop.
Saturday, February 1
11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Lunch will be provided!
